I feel cheated for having spent £40 on it 

Hate that feeling, esp on digital purchases

At least on Steam you can get a refund if you've played for less than 2 hours. On the Switch I'll be buying digital only for sales (Phantom Doctrine for £1.50 or something ridiculous last week) or games I already own (though took a gamble with Two Point Hospital, the PC port is badly optimised enough, thankfully the Swith one isn't too bad)

I think I'm going to pull the trigger on a Radeon RX 5700 XT. Before I do, any thoughts on which version to get and how much it matters? The price varies by £200 in some cases!

I quite enjoyed the star wars game - it was bundled with my new Xbox at Christmas.

I haven't played games for years, so I'm be out of date with new games, and just enjoyed the setting. Agree that the fighting was way too woolly to be able to fight the later bosses though. I never worked out if blocking ever really did anything...

The game did look pretty incredible at times and some of the worlds were amazing and I think most of my ire comes from death by a thousand paper cuts than any one thing was totally insurmountable by itself.

I also never got around to talking about the fucking wookies... Who releases a triple A licensed game in 2019 with one of the most iconic character races from the one of the biggest franchises in the world looking like this....

considering how amazing some of the other models looks it's laughable this was the best they could muster.

Any recommendations for good adventurish puzzle type PC games?

Limbo, Inside or Grim Fandango. That type of thing.

I find it really hard to gauge what game I'd like because I've tried too many top reviewed games which are abysmal.

They did release updated Monkey Island versions a few years ago if you fancy some proper nostalgia. Also The Dig, which for my money, is the best point/click adventure game in the Lucas Arts back catalogue.

I enjoyed all of those except for Undertale, but Undertale gets really phenomenal reviews and I seem to be the only person in the world who didn't really like it, so you might enjoy... or not, given your experience with top-reviewed games!

The Dig's atmosphere is really, really, great. The puzzles are broken.

Monkey Island is my personal favourite. The graphics on the new edition hurt my being.

Ha, I bought it as a kid and a walk through was necessary. I tried to replay it a couple of years ago and I gave up pretty quickly. But maybe it's me.

Just went to this super cool island.

Black (<3), orange and pink tulips.

Plus weirdly big fish were spawning in both sea and river so you were catching either shitty sea/black basses or some high valued fish.

2x Stringfish and 1x Oarfish from shirt trip was highlight.

Just the fish from picture below got me 66 100 Bells.
