Think the case finish is a matter of taste to be honest, whereas a shiny dial/bezel/hands present more of an issue legibility wise. I wouldn’t worry about it too much.
Personally I’m not a big fan of the fully polished version, but it does give a bit of a 70s vibe if you like that sort of thing, especially on the Milanese bracelet they offer.
