I bought some clippers from Argos while doing a shop in Sainsbury's.
Not used them yet. How hard can it be?

Very easy, no need to look in a mirror - that's for cowards.

I was already exempt due to my love of 90s hip hop

I've done the long hair thing before though this isn't new territory.

Are you saying you did it before it was cool?

My knees are absolutely fucked from running-if cycling gets banned that's my one outlet gone ;(

I cut my hair sometimes (started out of fear of German barbers), not hard at all if going for a short back/sides deal. Lots of vids on YouTube etc.

I haven’t since Wednesday. But will go for a run when it’s quiet this evening.

Feel like my post should have in the /rant thread. I think that people should be getting out and doing what exercise they can. That’s exactly what I was doing after all. But you also need to bear some social responsibility and don’t run with your entire household on a path that’s fine for 2 people to stay 2m apart but not when 4 of you run down the fucking middle.

Chap on the 911UK forum bragged this morning that he'd ordered 75 hot cross buns and was going to visit every elderly person in his village this morning, accompanied by his son, to hand deliver them.
He's staggered that I pointed out that this was both stupid and dangerous, and has gone off on one about authoritarian states.

My hair is going to donation length as a buzz cut really doesn't suit me, crazy cat lady look incoming.

No, I did it when it was hot, damn hot.
Mine isn't as long yet as it was back in the day.

Anybody experiencing big delays in Royal Mail deliveries? I Have two small parcels that were posted to me in 1st class on the 23rd (last Monday) and neither have shown up so far. Neither are tracked so I'm in the dark. They're not super important so more of a mild inconvenience than anything really, but I was curious if others had had the same experience.

I sent 2 parcels in 1st class this week from London to London. They received it a day after, so the deliveries have not been affected in London so far. It could be different outside of London though.

I sent a first class letter last week and it took a week to arrive, think things are just slow. My postman is still coming everyday but am currently viewing him as most dangerous person I interact with as I watch him touch the door going in and out blocks of flats, he has started wearing latex gloves but this morning he appears to of developed a cold as he wiped his nose and coughed in to his hands...my post is not getting opened for a few days

Cool, thanks for the feedbacks. I suppose it would be nice to have some update from RM itself (they said they stopped guaranteeing next day delivery by 1pm but that's about it as far as I could see?) but hey, it's not the end of the world and hopefully they will turn up at some point.

I posted stuff to both Holland and Uk this week and it's arrived as expected, maybe just depends how each regional/local office is staffed atm.

DHL now have 3 pics of my front door - was told I didn't need to be in them
twice.
Exercise isn’t just about physical appearance, think of the mental health benefits in a time like now. Running is one of the only things we’ve been clearly told we can do so it’s suddenly mighty appealing. I’m sure it’ll quieten down if it starts raining though.
