You want to go era correct? Early to mid- nineties: Onza, X-lite, Tioga, Ritchey.
-
• #1980
I've still got an old X-Lite bar end. Well, some of it anyway.

My 1989 self-designed, one and only. 31 years of riding it and I wouldn’t replace it for anything.

Yes 182, I'm looking to buy something cheap fish. My plan is to sell my ss 26 almost complete inbred and go for something geared with v brakes.

Pre internet there was no one to tell him what comfort looked like
-
• #1988
Ha ha. Nope. It wasn’t as bad as it looks but just a slight miscalculation after treating the saddle to some tlc.

Awesome!
Is that near Porthtowan? -

Don't suppose you used to race in the CMBC series back in the 90's? It used to be huge down there, always a good turn out.

Cool bike. Why the high bottle mount position on the down tube?
-
• #1998
So I can shoulder the bike and not have a bottle cage digging me in the kidney.
It also has road fork blades for chainstays so I can run a narrow BB axle. Clearance for 1.95 max.
Field bikes, the known brand, are from Sheffield but this was made by someone else. Denis Field who set up near Falmouth. He built road frames and agreed to do this one-off. When he finish he said he had had to throw the book away and would never do another. He also said I could have had it in 753 if I’d asked! -

Long time listener, hoping this is appropriate. My recently finished C-16R.

Love it - nice work
I don't look much like that either... (my friend's on my Decathlon MTB, quite a good bike actually) and I'm on his Suzuki (many years later I ended up getting the same motorbike)
