Big fan of yours and I'll yield because of that.

Sounds like a great idea, hopefully gonna follow this build.
Consider a Works angleset. I think this frame could use a slacker hta.

hands have nothing to do with it. No modern lever needs more than one finger

Horses for courses.
Lever blade is one of many factors in braking - rotor size, number of piston, brake pads, how well it's maintained, conditions and riding style, terrains, what you're used to and hands. You get the point?

Lockdown parts box special.
Starting to get to the bottom of the bike pile.
This is a low end mixte from a French supermarket that I have been using for parts.
Now gone full circle and sorted it out.
Had to remove the mudguards to fit the 27.5 × 1.95 Kenda tyres. New cables all around. Cockpit from my Pashley Pronto.
Will hit Gumtree shortly, it's not aesthetically pleasing enough to be advertised on here

My cycletruck is in a rideable state. I decided to go for cantilever bosses on the fork. Was planning to add discs front and rear but changed my mind and the v-brakes have plenty of power. Unloaded it feels twitchy like a trackbike but with some load up front it behaves a lot more stable. But the steering is still a lot easier than with a loaded basket on a front rack. Success!

XT v brakes with parallel rods?
Get some v brake booster if you decide you need MORE stopping power!

They straight went to the fleamarket-box after the first spin and were replaced with a silver deore in the back and a black one for the front. 0/10 would not mount again.
