It’s an awful situation. There’s not enough single sex accommodation and little provision for people with dogs etc.

She had a dog, but her ex gave it to a dodgy guy, she knows where it is but can't pick it up.
Gave her money for a room for the week, so well that's that. Meanwhile there is a huge ex office that has been "for redevelopment" for years, I really wonder why Belfast CC doesn't at least let people squat in there.

The person I spoke to won't stay in free shelters, her phone got stolen and she said addicted people make it difficult to sleep, some are also aggressive. A few others are the same, at least the Belfastians are generally sound and give food/money.
Of course treatment for drug addiction is another area the UK is not great at...
