Rear derailleur problems: Trying to set up an XT M-8000 system, can only shift to the second lowest gear (picture attached below is in second lowest); after that, I have to push really hard to shift down further and the derailleur only moves ~half of what it should. Looking at it, seems that the cable is at an odd angle and can't really be pulled more towards the cable stop. Derailleur is mounted correctly, hanger is new.
Probably a fairly obvious solution to it, but I don't see it. Any ideas?
Your cable clamp washer should align with the shoulder on the body. I don't think that's the problem, but looking at it is hurting me too much to consider the real issue 😥
Have you checked that the low limit screw is backed out far enough?
