Don't know if anyone has posted this but a Council Tax deferred payment tip:
If you pay council tax via direct debit, most people are on a 10 payment in 12 schedule with Feb and March free of payments.
If your council allows (which most will) you can move these payment free periods to April and May, so that your 10 payments will begin on June until March.Hopefully helps out some folk? I've just done it for Eastleigh Council, and all my work colleagues have managed to sort out the same.

I think the round of applause is a lovely idea. When we saw the video of people doing it (in Barcelona), the train of thought in our flat was that when you can't do much to help, there's no harm in appreciating the people out there risking so much to.

Again, not about the number of planes. Not sure why that's so difficult to understand?
Maybe duty free still being open for business during lock down is fine, I suppose cheap booze is essential now off-licenses are allowed to stay open! -

A dude plays his sax in the Streatham woods from time to time. Quite enjoy it.
He was out there earlier while I had a lunchtime doze in the sun. Nice. #smooothjazz -

FWIW everybody here in Valencia claps at 8pm and it’s pretty amazing... as much about neighbours saying hello and keeping spirits up.

The Daily Telegraph had instructions on washing your sex toys during the lockdown.
What? How were Daily Telegraph readers cleaning them before the lockdown? Does Jeeves of Belgravia have an intimate services division?
Yes, no one will want to be the first to clap. It will only have any effect if there is high uptake. If no one shares it, it def wont happen, or will be a meaningless act. Could be meaningless anyway. Going to keep sharing it as little else to do.
