It's a worthwhile question to ask though, especially when it comes to handing out personal data en masse, you don't want to be giving it to anyone with potentially nefarious intentions.
Mm. They're fairly open about how they'll export data to the US in time, and about how the protections are less stringent over there. I'm no expert but it wouldn't be surprising to have companies jump on this opportunity for free data. Doesn't seem like that's what's happening here though.
