I believe Gore have historically done jackets that can be short sleeved, though I must say I don't get the appeal and dispute anything of the sort being labelled stylish. Zip-off cargo trousers don't get a pass, so neither do these 😂

I'm going to stick out my neck an say that although I agree vis a vie cargo pants, I think the 2020 Perfetto looks ok (maybe the tighter fit takes away some of the crinoline effect). The prior model that turns into a gillet is not so good...

Oh yeah as a jacket I've got no issues, it's just a jacket-weight jersey that strikes me as odd

What looks good these days on fat dads? I just unpacked a bunch of jerseys I haven’t worn in two years and nothing fits...
I used to like the mill tag stuff, but moobs and a gut. I guess I can just wear my mtb stuff on the social distance randomnees, no one will be the to judge. -

Black things

I spent my 30s trying to wear less black. Move out of the realm of the LumberGoth.

That really should continue across the chest, it would look like one of the monsters from The Maxx.

Anyone tried anything from the GODANDFAMOUS range? Would like to hear about quality fit etc. Looking for a nice black jersey for spring/summer/autumn that'll be a happy neutral with either plain black Rapha or Attaquer bibs.
Rapha's PT stuff is nice but just not me and Attaquer race is maybe too lightweight. I don't like wearing more recognisable brands together but thought the G&F was little more incognito.

Have the two g&f jerseys covered in random branding and quality is great. Not too slim fitting but race fit (if that makes sense). Rotate in Hackney stock them if you want to try out.

Ha, yup. And even cheaper!

The feature list is also a dead giveaway, if the price isn’t enough of a red flag

I’m after a white gilet with rear pockets. Preferably 3, like a normal jersey. Less logos (preferably none or very small) the better. I’d like white because I want to try and dye it.
Happy to buy a cheap AliExpress one.

Dyeing plastic fibres? Always thought this was almost impossible at home. Guess thats why you say try.
Checked and there seems to be Rit Dyemore, but that needs at least 80 degree celsius to work.
I saw white stuff at decathlon a while ago.
In any case, let us know if it works. -

Yeah, there’s a few things out there. Can always give a shot. Want to try and do a Ringtail type of thing.
As you said, Rit Dyemore can dye synthetic fabric.

Anyone need a code for £50 off Le Col stuff? DM me if you want it!
Edit: minimum spend of £100 -

I hate to be the person dropping in with a terribly vague request but I'm going to do it anyway...
Who are the current go-tos for stylish kit, preferably not big name brands as I'd rather support a smaller outfit in the current times.
I've been admiring Team Dream (lovely but low on stock at the moment), God & Famous, Brandt-Sorenson (top clobber but out of my price range at the moment) and a few others but who have I missed out on for luxe kit with stylish designs?
c.€180 bibs and c.€100 short sleeve jersey range ideally...
Edit: While wracking my brain to remember other brands I remembered Cheese Cyling Club and Tokubetsu Na Mono in case any one else is in need of inspiration...

You're a gent!
Team Yacht Club stuff looks delightful but how do you buy it?

No worries, was going through the same dilemma now I’ve built a new bike and the sun is shining...
re: Team Yacht Club - no idea... I’ll get back to you... think they might have a shop via instagram - it’s gone but seems Rapha make their stuff now...Finally, there are loads of one hit wonder jerseys being made to be found on Instagram... 👍🏻
Are there any good alternatives to the PERFETTO ROS CONVERTIBLE JACKET (pardon ctr-c screaming capitals) that doesn't cost as much?
