Rode my bike in Richmond Park today. It was lush. Fairly quiet by ordinary cycling standards, obviously no traffic, a few walkers about, sun shining.
Just wanted to spin the legs a bit, did 2 glorious laps with a few “morning”s as I passed people at a safe distance.
Almost ruined though on the 3rd lap by 3 choppers on aero plastic bikes, elbows on the tops of their bars, smashing it round at 40k passing me with inches spare on an otherwise empty road. They weren’t together either. 3 separate choppers getting in their “training”.
Knock it off.
The 4th plastic bike whopper looked to be going quite deep to stay ahead after passing me though so I gladly obliged and passed him riding off into the distance on my skinny steel bike with a smile on my face
