My rear (stainless) mudguard has always creaked when putting the hammer down as the frame twists. The noise is coming from the chainstays near the BB. Any advice on how to stop this? Would sculpting the guard so it doesn't touch the chainstays help?
Can you squeeze a bit of inner-tube between stays and guard?
Will give this a go thanks. If anyone knows of the Jan Heine approved method I'd love to know.
