Degreased and cleaned the bike this morning and with the epic tailwind and low traffic and I manage to get into central from Far East London in 30mins 😁

Embraced the gum, and the more candycane “green battenberg” look bike now has. Added some DMR Sect BMX grips and chopped the flanges off. Ignore saddle angle, need to fix that. Pretty pleased now! I like to think of it as a French Fancy version of the Explore...

Any more elegant solutions to the Brompton shifters? Would a twist grip work on a 2 speed?

i put a shimano tourney thumb shifter on, looks OK.

Thanks! I was going for a colour match and in person they look spot on. Any darker they'd look too brown imo. Maybe more muted, but without seeing any grips in person that were even close it was hard to gauge, so I'm pleased with the outcome.
