Don't know. Currently they seem on different paths: UK restricting tighter daily to limit spread, US aiming to get back going and concentrate on tackling virus hotspots.

The Breville blend active blenders do a pretty good job for me for an affordable price.
Easy to clean too. Will also come in handy in a couple of weeks when blending whatever is left at the back of the cupboard in the vain attempt to make it palatable.

Yes. Lots of pressure on Trump to protect the economy first, and I think he will bow to that - probably until it's too late and 1000's are dying. It may just be the thing that sees him off though. There will (surely) come a point when the buck has to stop with him.

People will just take the sanitiser. Or group around it. Or queue for it. Whilst coughing and sneezing.
Unintended consequences.

I hope people have stopped stealing sanitiser from the hospitals...

What is bizarre is that they're holding tightly to the concept that millions of deaths and a totally flooded health care system won't impact the economy. They're also holding onto the concept that C19 is only something to be concerned about if you are over 70, and that the virus is inactive if you were born in 1951 onwards.

until it's too late and 1000's are dying.
So by the end of the week then.
Desperately sad situation.
I suppose this is how it felt for Italians watching the UK response.

"Winding it in" or not bickering. Actually probably more important.
Hmmmm. Not sure either is really that important. Doing or not doing is important. Posting personal opinions about other people's personal opinions on internet forums, or not doing so, seems pretty low down the list of significant things right now. But hey, YMMV.

Yeah, probably. Supermarkets are doing it in Murica without anyone getting shot though

I have a call at 11 about making a will, which is not what I expected to be doing a week ago, but seems fairly anodyne now.
