My Sony a7rii has become my web cam... I shit you not.

I do remove the MF focus assist of course, but I haven't found a solution to disabling the bar at the bottom with the speed, light and ISO readings.

Immediately after posting I figured it out... Setup > HDMI Settings > HDMI Info Display > Off

Was gonna say look in HDMI settings - sorted!

That’s the most baller web cam setup I’ve seen. Beats the gross wide-angle up-nose laptop cameras for sure.

Basically:

• Sony a7r ii
  
• Tripod
  
• Elgato Cam Link (to convert the camera HDMI into a webcam USB input)
  
• Elgato Key Light Air (the flat lights on the sides of the desk for even lighting, I only add enough to give colour and balance)
  
• Jabra 710 speakerphone for great audio and microphone with ambient noise suppression on the microphone
  
  

I'll concede this is a full Twitch streamer or YouTuber setup... but we have months of this, and this makes a huge difference.

Totally makes sense. I’m also faced with this new reality of multiple video calls each day now and production value bugs me to no end.

Tried a similar shot on my 'daily walk' with the only car to drive past. Sadly no classics!

Like your first one, great contrast between old and new architecture.

If it was me, I would have tried to keep a little gap between the two buildings. And probably would have shopped the third building in the middle out of the frame.
