• We’ve got a potentially weird grey area at my work, where we can all work from home and have been for a while. But we sell physical products online, and the third party fulfilment centre theoretically could still be running. I think there’s not been much clarification on whether “absolutely necessary” refers to the travel to a job, or the job itself. Shipping our products right now is not vital to people’s survival. But if the same fulfilment centre ships groceries, the workers will presumably be there anyway.

  • This is what I'm unclear about. Most jobs are not absolutely necessary right now (unless you consider having an income a necessity ) but is this referring to unnecessary travel or job?

  • If it’s inline with most of Europe then travel to work is fine. You should wfh if possible.
