Brompton J&L Titanium Rear Triangle (recommended for single speed/3-speed only!), £180 posted

Purchased in July 2017 for £360 as an upgrade on my 2007 S2L. Once installed it was discovered that when in the lower gear the derailleur spring leg sat really close to the spokes of the rear wheel. LBS tried with various wheels but could barely get any clearance where they would expect a 4mm gap between spokes and the derailleur spring.

I sent it back to the seller (in China) in November 2017 for exchange, it never cleared customs and the package was returned to me this week. In the meantime I've picked up a genuine Brompton ti triangle, so this is of no use to me. It would do a fine job used as single speed or on a 3-speed setup, not recommended for 2-speed or 6-speed.

    Weight: 441g

From my 2007 S2L. Good structure, no dents or dings. Scratched up paintwork on chainstays and brake bridge.

    Brompton Fork, £40 posted

Also from 2007 S2L. Fine condition, see photos for details .

(Based in Birmingham, local collection also available.)

  • Reminded me of when I bought a J&L titanium fork....The steering tube was too big and I could not get the crown on. Battled for an entire evenining sending it down and taping with a hammer until it was acceptable but I fucking hated them so much at the time....GLWS

  • Would the Ti be fine on an 3 speed hub?

  • Sorry, ti has sold. Steel triangle and forks still available.

  • Hi, is the steel triangle still available?
    thanks!

  • Steel triangle and forks still going? Thanks
