The property owners told me their morgage was too high to offer a greater discount than £170.

Most likely they are going to receive a morgage-holiday due to the crisis right?

They might not have realised that a Holiday is on offer and should be offered in a way that it wont mark their credit history. If you think they aren't total arseholes it might be worth trying to convince them of that.

Yep I have sent them a super-sweet reply with some information and directed them to the agent who I have copied in.
