Managed 38s on mine, probably could do 42 at the rear.

I was thinking of going down the steel road frame and 650b conversion with long drop brakes. What kind of clearance do people get with 650b wheels ? This will vary from frames I'm sure . Also are 650b rim brake wheels still hard to come by for cheap?
