How much did this manual trainer cost?
-
• #129
I bought it from Sender Ramps, looks like they’ve updated it for 2020.
It’s well thought out generally, although mine rocks left/right without some packing under the feet.

And around £80 I think. I like that it packs down flat and can go on a shelf (where it’s been living until isolation).

?
I grew up in a house behind a massive field. In the 80s when nobody cared about the environment the farmer used to burn the stubble by tying a burning tractor tyre to the back of his Range Rover and gunning around the field at speed. Always looked fun tbh.

Tyre flips and sled training.
We have a big (shared) garage that could easily be repurposed into a functional training space.
I need something that isn't running or cycling and that I can do semi-outdoors. -

That sounds... less destructive.
To be fair burning stubble isn't running or cycling and can be done semi-outdoors (in a Range Rover) :P

Yoga?

How do you learn to manual in a garage? A manual is rolling along on the back wheel.

Oh.

A tractor.

Been challenging myself to beat yesterday’s burpee number for about a week now.
A. Burpees are hard
B. It never becomes a “game” you want win
C. Stronger mentally than I thought
D. It’s maybe keeping me fit and healthier? -
• #140
Burpees are so crap. I tried doing 10 after every toilet trip yesterday. Awful idea.
-

I do agree.
Quick simple and spike the heart rate though. I’ve taken to just randomly doing them it’s I feel having a positive affect on my mood as I’ve something else going on through the day.
They do suck real bad though.

That play list is great! Nice one good luck on sorting the recording 👍👍👍

Anyone know any good adventure games like Limbo or Inside?

Could we actually have a group ride in the mornings/evenings, I presume simply by logging into the same track on Zwift at the same time? Or is it more complex than that?
-
• #145
If you all sign up to the same ride and stick together it is possible.
You can do private rides but it's not as good as riding with bigger groups, and you can't create a private ride with a workout preloaded. So you just ride around.

I was just thinking that it might be nice to do a Zwift group “jra” session between (say)8-9am.

I just reread the first few pages of the 5th Floor beef thread, fuck me, what a bunch of tossers we all were... Good fun tho'...
-

Link?
-
• #149
You just need to update the Zwift thread with a list of interested people and their usernames. Once you have that you can just update the thread with which workout/group ride you're doing and then people can sign up on the Zwift companion app.
