It might, or it might not. Heat kills the virus (allegedly) and their population is young. I am no expert on African daily life, but it wouldn't surprise me if their huge grey economy/informal sector will show an amazing adaptability to the situation.

I live in Singapore which I’d qualify as “hot” - I’m not buying the theory that this virus slows down at 20-25 degrees Celsius as there’s currently zero proof of this happening. Thailand about to shit down, Malaysia already shutdown and Indonesia is a ticking time bomb where temperatures rarely drop below 20c.
Or am I that wrong about this?
