At our school we have a fairly robust set of ongoing assessment and mock exam scores. Which is all well and good except it's well established that a lot of kids put minimal effort into the mock exams and rely on putting in a good performance in the exams after two months of revision... So some kids are screwed and others sitting pretty.
This is my concern, my youngest decided to follow his sister's example and do fuck all and then ace the exams. It worked for her at both GCSE and A level.
id have totally fucked both my GCSEs and A Levels in that case
I dont think i got above a C in my mocks GCSEs but got 8 above in actual.
I failed 2 of my alevels almost completely at AS but a B and C in them in the final exam
