We're isolating the family
Definitely the right thing to do, like you say, could be normal flu but without a test who knows.
Did you get it first? Because that means you only need to self-isolate for a week, while the rest of the family have to do 14 days. Every cloud and all that.

If someone has symptoms then it's 7 days from the onset of symptoms, isn't it? Only 14 days if no symptoms but living with someone who has, I think.

I was in the french alps last week and flew home to Sweden via london, so plenty of opportunities to catch it.
The rest of the family had a bug when I got home though, so no idea if I got theirs or picked it up before. Either way we’ll stay put until Monday even though the general guidelines here are that anyone without symptoms should go to work / school.
Our 6yo has been symptom free all week and she’s bored out of her head. She woke me up at 430 this morning asking me “please dad can I go to school tomorrow and see my friends, I really miss them”
I’m working remote so isolating is no difference for me but for the kids it’s been tough

Skipped coffee completely yesterday as I couldn't find the energy to brew a cup. Think that'll explain my headache for the last 24hrs...
We're isolating the family, seems pointless to isolate individuals as me and the ms has very similar symptoms.
