Maybe too early for a midlife crisis but given the mileage I’m doing on motorways, I’m tempted by the r1250rt not the gs.

Heresy! What you need is a S1000XR. The faster you go, the less you're stuck in shitty weather.

@Jung My purchase choices are even more dire. Considering either a VFR800, a Multistrada 1100S or a Shiver GT for two up duties at the moment. taste is overrated.

Hey, I like the first two of those! No experience of the Shiver.

(none of the VFR800 either actually but the 750s were absolutely peachy.)
