20 years ago I first got my RR and I haven’t been back for 9 so no contact.
So stupid never to have got citizenship. Will try the helpline in the morning. Thanks again.

My daughter has citizenship / dual nationality as she was born in AKL - both my wife an I have IRRV's but need to get them transferred to our new passports (might just do this without being too fussy about how long they take)
NZ are evidently stopping anyone entering the country unless they are residents or citizens:

It’s definitely an option I want to keep open. If I can get the transfer done quite quickly it’ll give me that.
They all have dual nationality but as we’re no longer together I can’t go as a partner.
Still seem to be flights available but worried they may get scarce.
