• No tins of any kind, no rice, no pasta, no bread, no milk, no chilled meals like pizza or anything

    The joys of being veggie.

There was lots of spinach, potatoes, tofu, halloumi and the things I needed.

The local Londis is exceptionally well stocked though, had rice, pasta, tinned and jars of stuff.

I suspect the panic buying is all in the larger supermarkets rather than the local shops.

Veggie household here too. The vegetarian section was no more either so no tofu etc and even fresh produce section was decimated*. Sounds like I'm exaggerating but I'm really not. Madness round here.

*and not just reduced by 10%

  • Same. Also, I'm not vegetarian, but it's not like all I eat is meat... I could have gone for some fresh peppers for example, but alas, it's cleaned out. Some tofu left, but we already have some at home so no need there - but there was absolutely no fresh veg of any description left.
