I was looking back at messages about something very unusual that I also had in December. It was very short lived and consisted almost entirely of rapid-onset pain and chills. I remember thinking at the time that it felt like it could be lethal to someone vulnerable.
“I’ve been so ill overnight. Thought I was going to need an ambulance at one point. It’s like flu without the cold symptoms. I was freezing cold, despite heating on full blast, in bed with a fleece and tracksuit bottoms on. Intense pain all over my body even when I was still, and whenever I moved it was unbearable. I was literally crying out. It’s not as bad now, but I can’t really walk around. It’s so weird.”
