I agree it needs a strong leader.
I'm not sure Boris is one (not that Corbyn is either) - I think they both lack actual leadership.

Huge number of people supporting Johnson "because no matter how bad he is, he isn't Corbyn". That doesn't say a great amount for Johnson.

Hehe we already send half our shit to Russia/Ukraine and we're losing our Aussie (I mean, the one guy actually in Oz) soon. I have no idea what a RUB will buy you over there but I reckon you've got a way to go until you're as cheap

Remember, fever is not in 100% of recorded cases.

A couple of stations are closed due to lack of staff atm, Circle is running a ten minute service which is arguably better than usual. H and C 15 minute service.

I reckon when it is noticeable by someone else. The odd cough / throat clear is normal.
At the end of a Teams meeting when someone asked who it was with the cough I realised it might be counted as continuous.

Indeed, I'm very aware of that. That's one of the reasons I agreed with my boss to self-isolate. As posted by @lowbrows a while back:
https://emcrit.org/ibcc/COVID19/#signs_and_symptoms
The frequency of fever is variable between studies (ranging from 43% to 98% as shown in the table above). This may relate to exact methodology used in various studies, different levels of illness severity between various cohorts, or different strains of the virus present in various locations. Additionally, some studies defined fever as a temperature >37.3 C (Zhou et al. 3/9/20).
Regardless of the exact numbers – absence of a fever does not exclude COVID-19.

I've been for quite a long time. But zero fever and cough is occasional, so technically I can go out and infect all the people I like!
Hah yeah, also even if it’s not COVID, it’s still a risk to sptead what you had to vulnerable people as regular flu still kill thousands

Not unless that has been a sudden and unexpected change in the law it wouldn’t.
There are legal formalities required for a will to be operative. Failure to leave a valid will leads to intestacy. You don’t want to die intestate. Certainly those closest to you won’t want you to.
A simple Will is simply done. There are pro formas on the Internet. Remember it must be signed in front of two independent witnesses who must add their names and addresses.

Struggling about a good mates wedding this weekend. Up in York Friday through Sunday. Thankfully wife and I are staying in our own AirBnB. Really surprised they've not cancelled yet. Monday they updated everyone with the standard "following govt advice etc". I mean I'm less worried about us as two people that live alone but could well cause issues if either of us having anything we pass on to older guests.

Yeah not really a good idea right now I think... a very good friend was going to get married in two weeks but fortunately they were able to postpone everything to August, so while that leaves me most likely slightly out of pocket for flights, at least we don't have the choice between feeling like shit humans and feeling like shit friends. I kind of understand the issue your mate has though, if the whole thing isn't exactly cheap and can't be moved, you can potentially be out of pocket of a LOT of money...

find myself wanting a cargo bike rather than a sawn-off...
Here you go, support a small business while at it. Got mine days before the Covid-19 measures entered into force in Denmark. You can slap a Europallet of bog roll on it and still drop Bullitt riders on hills like a fucking boss.

Yeah insurance should cover most but shit situation for them. Shouldn't be surprised if they announce something today but I fear that is optimism. Sorry to hear about your flights that's a shitter. Hopefully they've told older relatives to stay away but god knows. If the garbage everyone keeps forwarding me is true the m25 is going to be converted to an army barrier and the decision will be made for us!

Thought the 'do nothing' mortality figures were potentially north of half a million?
That´s assuming hospitals could cope, which they wouldn´t. A do nothing option would involve a million dead, mass graves etc.

I LOVE your shop!! Had no idea you were 'on here', that makes it even better. Might even pop by later and treat myself to from wfh socks.
If you close, will you continue to sell online? Is that still viable?

I've been flattened for over a week Ed, I was last at work a week ago and have had some pretty scary chest tightness, horrible sore throat, aches, bad headache, runny nose etc. It's the sickest I've been for quite a long time.
This is the thing I had in Dec and I’d I had it now I would be convinced that it’s...it.

Not according to the latest Imperial model, which puts total deaths at 550,000 assuming a 'do nothing' policy. Still a lot of people, but not a million. Obviously it's just a model, but it's the best forecast I'm aware of.
It's still possible you could end up with over a million fatalities of course. If the reported fatality rates overall of 2% you'd be at about 1.3 million. However, most studies put the IFR for C19 at just under 1%. Still far more lethal than seasonal flu, where the IFT is under 0.1%.

I was looking back at messages about something very unusual that I also had in December. It was very short lived and consisted almost entirely of rapid-onset pain and chills. I remember thinking at the time that it felt like it could be lethal to someone vulnerable.
“I’ve been so ill overnight. Thought I was going to need an ambulance at one point. It’s like flu without the cold symptoms. I was freezing cold, despite heating on full blast, in bed with a fleece and tracksuit bottoms on. Intense pain all over my body even when I was still, and whenever I moved it was unbearable. I was literally crying out. It’s not as bad now, but I can’t really walk around. It’s so weird.”

Stems from the way sick pay works in the uk. I. E if your sick your out and there is no income. Folk will soldier on and mask their symptoms in order to get a few more £££, way it's been my working life.
We'll all be clean freaks after this -

Yep, that’s the one. Although I felt generally run down for a couple of weeks beforehand.
Afterwards, when discussing it, I heard it being described as ‘the three week lurgy’ .
Hey, if anybody needs some webdev work, I am about ready to pick it back up. Super cheap overseas rates ;)
