Yeah not really a good idea right now I think... a very good friend was going to get married in two weeks but fortunately they were able to postpone everything to August, so while that leaves me most likely slightly out of pocket for flights, at least we don't have the choice between feeling like shit humans and feeling like shit friends. I kind of understand the issue your mate has though, if the whole thing isn't exactly cheap and can't be moved, you can potentially be out of pocket of a LOT of money...

Struggling about a good mates wedding this weekend. Up in York Friday through Sunday. Thankfully wife and I are staying in our own AirBnB. Really surprised they've not cancelled yet. Monday they updated everyone with the standard "following govt advice etc". I mean I'm less worried about us as two people that live alone but could well cause issues if either of us having anything we pass on to older guests.
