• Big spike in chatter about lockdown on Friday, many referencing "Operation Broadsheet", from "my friends in the army". I do wonder why we'd need the army mobilised - menacing people with a rifle so they only take four toilet rolls?

  • Driving lorries, putting up tents, feeding people, mobile hospitals.. all sorts of shit I expect

  • Its what other countries have done isn't it, France deployed an additional 100k to enforce lockdown, similiar in other countries. Think they just wander around asking people why they are out and telling them get off the steet as quick as possible and break up groups

  • Because the police force is a skeleton operation due to cutbacks.
