Have you got walk assist enabled? Good for situations where you have may have to push a heavy load up a hill.
Re. the drive issue- i’d be investigating the Nuvinci hub first.. don’t trust them one iota 😆. Though turning it off and on to fix sounds like the motor may have an issue.. let us know what they say after the service!

Just tried to turn right from a main road into a B road and the pedals just spun round as a van was speeding towards me. I had to jump off and pushed it. Lucky the load wasn't too heavy, or on a hill. In the side road I tried several times and the pedals either spun free or the gearing just slipped with a clonk, then spun. Eventually got it goin by turning power off then on. Don't feel confident enough to risk using it now.
It's going in for a first service on Monday. I'll be interested to hear what their oppinion is. Not looking forward to the 10 mile ride to the shop - if I don't have to stop I should be ok
