Tusk was better, but only as Lindsey Buckingham would have wanted it.

I remembered this today

To protect us, the company that manages the "coffee" machine at work came in today and deactivated it. They didn't just let it run out of coffee, they turned it off. And then left a leaflet saying how the prices have gone up despite the fact we can't have any coffee. Feels a bit of a piss take.

A rumour from Whitehall. Full lockdown before the weekend. Army being prepared.
Saw this too - although I'm hoping just a rumour....

Some already have. My mate's kids school shut as one of the parents or teachers had to isolate so they didn't have enough staff.

I'm getting this now as well... Came to see if there was any news from us sensible lot!
What does lock down entail?
do I need to go buy 84 rolls of TP?
ARE THE PANIC TP BUYERS RIGHT?! -

people aren't taking it very seriously.
Aussies not taking something seriously? Next thing you'll be telling me is that the English like tea...

Hmm an odd moral quandary...

In a world where they haven't even closed the schools in England I don't think we'll be seeing a full lockdown any time soon.

The army has been preparing for worst case scenarios for over a month. I doubt whatever measures the government will announce will directly involve them.

all the neighbourhood schoolkids not at school because parents don't want them to get the virus, have been playing in the park together all day instead. (the park that's effectively an open air dog toilet with signs up from council warning about giarda infections in local kids...)
go figure.

What does lock down entail?
It will be mandatory to listen to Tusk by Fleetwood Mac from the hours of 9 until 15:00. After that, only ‘proper’ bands will be permitted, like Foreigner.

The word lockdown is heavily misused by the press. It will be mandatory home working next.

I know people were questioning the value of Dr John Campbell's youtube videos on here some pages ago
Indeed, I stopped posting them here coz of the ridicule ;)
Still good point about the record of the Virus progress. I watch them daily and am impressed still by his ability to communicate clearly. Not like the people in charge. -

mandatory home working
What about the datacentre guy that has to turn it off and on again?
If they go home, we're all fucked.

I'm a proper nerd and run my own adsb and passive radar setup at home.
I've been seeing a lot of army air Corp helicopter flights between London and random rural fields in the last few weeks like they have been running drills for something. I assume that is part of the planning for worst case scenarios with mass casualties.

We haven't sent them home...
I know. It's not that good an album.
