• 1yr old started coughing last night. Persistent dry cough. Coughed all night. Kept us up a lot and we were like "this is it, here comes the rollercoaster", kept everyone home today but the cough has all but disappeared.
Partner has been coming down with something for a few days but no Corona symptoms.
Today I started to get mild aches (back, shoulders, head) but no other symptoms.
Other child mentioned headache but he is very empathetic and will "have" anything anyone else does so it's difficult to tell but he's clearly knackered. Both kids their usual selves.

Do we continue to isolate for 2 weeks (bear in mind 4 people in a small house)?
We may not have it and then have to spend another 2 weeks isolated when one of us actually goes down with it.
We can't isolate the family every time someone sneezes so I'm leaning towards un-isolating if the cough stays away tonight. From other accounts I'm reading it's not an overnight illness.

    Am I being stupid?

I don't think you're being stupid but 1 year old's new, persistent cough says yes I'm afraid. You can't isolate the family every time someone sneezes no but a persistent dry cough is one of the two key symptoms.

Maybe try and get some medical advice from NHS 111 or elsewhere?
