  • Any chance of some pointers on how you went about modifying your child seat bracket to fit it on your Mini Maxi. Its a job I've had on the back burner for a bit, and seeing as I'm going to be working from home for the foreseeable future I might finally get it done.

I've got an angle grinder which doesn't get used much, if that helps ?

  • Yea for sure. Its essentially just making the square hole round at the one end. I used an anglegrinder too.

However.. if you're planning on using a yepp maxi chair on it, be aware that the results arent that great. First off it needs to be the model that clamps onto a rear rack for example. I believe its called NEXT. The shorter wheelbase position of the front wheel requires you to mount the seat very close to the handlebars in order for the wheel to clear the foot shields when turning. This means that kiddos head is dangerously close to a turning handlebar, and the cables being within reach for curious little fingers. The steerer bar makes contact with the seat’s foot shield too..

Ive just used my Yepp Bracket to provide a solid base for the buggy i haul my son around in :)
