Never been on a bridges ride.. work permitting I'm up for it.
-
• #3
Anyone wanna ride out from St Paul's to west?
-
• #4
I'd potentially join you on that!

Final chance this Saturday.

Bridges is going ahead this weekend, I'd just ask participants to be mindful of their personal space.
We can all still enjoy a good ride on what should be some quiet roads.
-
• #7
empty streets
-
• #8
Tell me about it. Circle Line and East Ride definitely had less traffic to worry about.
-
• #9
Does KTHNXBAI mean you're leaving us, John?
-
• #11
Woah, the end of an era. Happy memory of getting trashed on CM with you and jason, funny fuckers you were together. You going somewhere nice?
-
• #12
Brisbane, here its like Florida. Spent three days there so can't vouch for it being nice.
Queensland is officially the most bogan state.

Going by this atm, from Gov key measures:
(Even with a cough or fever)
..but they may leave the house "for exercise and, in that case, at a safe distance from others". -
• #14
That's why Teenslain moved there, made him look cool.

Was planning on coming on this and really looking forward to it but sadly am not sufficiently recovered from recent illness.
-
• #16
Most important thing is getting better.

I am going to head out to Kew Saturday otherwise my head is going to pop.
Others are welcome to join me (at a Covid-appropriate distance) if they feel the same way.
-
• #18
See you there. Will happily foot/elbow bump you upon arrival.
-
• #19
Will definitely be there.

Confirmed still on, looks like a good dry night.
Please be sensible, if under the weather, stay under the covers.
We'll keep our distance, which shouldn't be difficult seeing how quiet it'll be through places that usually heave on a Saturday night.
Thinking how surreal that area around Putney Bridge and between Westminster and Cannon Street are going to be stripped of the Saturday night crowd.
Guess less rowdy guys out shouting 'Tour de France' at us and also the groups of giggling women being told we are riding to Brighton when asked.
May as well add both crossings of the Hungerford Pedestrian Bridge because they will be dead as well. Remember trying to add those in earlier additions but it was always too messy.
Either way tonight is going to be a trip (a bit like when we did it with the roads all frozen over).
See you out there.
I'll be bombing down to Kew via the bottom of the Park, Kesington, Hammersmith and Chiswick High Streets at around 20:30.

I'm going to be sensible due to family stuff so will give this one a miss. Ride safe.
-
• #22
I’m going to have to bail on this. My heart says yes, my social distancing head says no.
Would have loved to have done the first and the last bridges ride!
Enjoy the empty streets. -
• #23
Yep I get you two, it is understandable, another time.
I have been alone in the house for a month.
If I don't get out for at least some limited, socially-distant interaction I'll be jumping off one of these bridges all by myself.

Will be joining tonight for the social distancing ride. 😷😷😷 With my office shutting down, my nice commute vanished and I almost don't bike :(
