• Getting round to watching the anime I’ve always meant to get into. Started off with One Punch Man. Ultra violent but liking the humour.

  • He’s brilliant. It’s made by the Bake Off people but so much better.

Matt Cronshaw the cyclist was a finalist. He is very good.

  • It's a touch dead but I lurk awaiting other nerds to join me

  • Quite enjoyed Tokyo Ghoul and Shinsekai Yori (very different to each other)

  • Bright pink

Did you intentionally buy the dildo grade?

  • I guess my Fire Emblem Heroes stats are about to get a boost.

  • yowamushi pedal

  • Battletech still a thing?

    Platform? PC I'm assuming?

  • No, I opted for the 'bung in two cut price rolls with the printer' option. No choice on colour. Doesn't really matter, as mostly I'll be making fixtures for framebuilding.

  • One punch man is brilliant!

  • Looking for PS4 games that allow..

    2 Players on 1 machine
    online VS
    2 Players on 1 machine

Pretty sure Overcooked 1 or 2 does this but others appreciated. Trying to find ways to be social!

  • Jean-Pierre Melville season on Mubi. Army of the Shadows - his epic and gloomy tale of the French Resistance - is well worth watching.

  • Doesn't seem to be on U.K. Netflix. Do any of the VPNs still work?

@rhowe cheers will check them out.

  • Try anime websites, they’re usually sub though.

  • For lengthy games: PS4 and Horizon Zero Dawn, Nier Automata, Persona 5, Final Fantasy VII (the original, remastered on PS4, not the new chaptered remake), Final Fantasy IX, Final Fantasy X, Final Fantasy XII. That should last the rest of the year. Apparently the FFVIII remaster isn't so hot.

Others: The Yazkua series, Okami, Detroit: Become Human, and Devil May Cry 5 are also all excellent. Then there's Beyond: Two Souls, and The Last of Us, both remasters. All of the old Resident Evil games are on PS4 too - Skip number 6, the rest are good. The Talos Principle is a wonderful and deep puzzle game. I haven't played it yet and Dragon Quest is sometimes a bit too old school traditional JRPG for me, but XI is meant to be good. Shenmue I, II, and III, and Ni No Kuni: Wrath Of The White Witch: Remastered might be worth checking out too. Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is also decent.

Games on my list to get: A Plague Tale, AI: The Somnium Files, Valkyria Chronicles 4, Ghost of a Tale (PSN), A Hat in Time (PSN). Resident Evil 3 is out soon too but will be quite short. There's Persona 5 Royal too (basically Persona 5 with some extras, so if you haven't played that yet, maybe get this new version).

There's loads on Netflix. Depends what you like. Mubi is also good.

I was considering getting a rowing machine -_-

  • Same but for X Box One

Current game of choice is The Division 2. Mighr get back into Destiny again

  • https://app.jqbx.fm/rooms is really good if you've got friends with similar music tastes. Just need a spotify account then you can create or join rooms and play songs in turn.

  • Mumen Rider on here?

  • Sorted...

  • Great time to learn an instrument via YouTube. Just placed an order for a trombone, my upstairs/downstairs neighbours will thank me in 6 months

(Not really, but if you can get your hands on a cheap classical guitar that'd be a good thing to learn on)

  • Today I have been feeling like a doomsday prepper

So getting ready for next winter!
