Yeah, if you don't care about the controllable-by-zwift part you can get a £100 magnetic turbo and change the resistance yourself, it can calculate power from a speedo. Alternatively buy a real cheap turbo and a second hand power meter then you know you've got accurate numbers and can use it out in the real world too.

For anything thinking about getting a fancy turbo trainer, the Flux S is the best priced direct drive + smart (controllable by zwift) one at the moment.
