I got three or four gym badges in then realised it wasn't even a little bit fun. Everything levels up too easily, the new mechanics were gimmicky and the way it held your hand was annoying.
It was a half-arsed attempt at best and when something like BOTW exists, there's no longer an excuse for phoning it in.

Yeah it's not great admittedly, but I've got some pals who've finished now playing the multiplayer a lot and I can get on board with that a bit. Never actually played animal crossing but loved harvest moon and stardew valley so obviously I'll be all over it
