Replying to Chung about wearing a mask because his mate would be happier if he did.
That’s pretty much the only reason I can see to wear one, even out here in HK its about showing face (respect to others) as it puts people at ease and shows consideration for them. If your mate would benefit from this then great. Just remember that it puts a lot of westerners at unease since their view of someone wearing a mask is that you are doing so because you are ill and should be tucked up indoors.
