  • Had this with the lowest tier dt Swiss rims (£40/45 price point), put a 650b 2.5" ish tyre to 50 psi and the rim erd shrinks so much that it becomes like a wet noodle. Also had it with one of their Gravel rims (again the lowest tier). Don't Reccomend the lowest ones anymore. Tension dropped from 55 wot nots down to around 35. Whereas a mavic rim of same price was only dropping to 50 at the same pressure (same hub/spoke/nipple combo)

  • If £40/45 uk rrp per rim is your budget, mavic /ryde etc make more dependable rims. Certainly easier to build! Their top tier alloy runs (£80/115 rrp) are a joy to build, very quick to get round /true /equal tension
