That’s the kind of thing I’ll be hoping to find at boot sales in 20 years time....

Whats with the knobs?
They just hold the domed adaptors into my wheel truing stand, so that it fits thru axle hubs

Hybrid ceramic bearings reduce front and rear wheel rolling resistance to the point of disbelief.
Seems good
The patented sprag clutch design removes the play and clickety–clack of pawls against teeth in the rear hub to silence your coasting.
Heh. Sprag.

Wowza these are nice. Its mind blowing. First time i felt one was on a mtb hanging in a stand with the chain wrapped around the 50t cog and a 28t chainring. Even though 'instant' can't be more or less, it's just SO INSTANT.

Have they managed to get the weight down now?
-
• #687
my rear wheel rolling resistance does not engage my disbelief, maybe my mind needs a ratchet upgrade

Have they managed to get the weight down now?
Nope. There is the slightly lighter alu freehub body version, but the 'lightweight' version is still in development. Doesn't bother me, as the extra 100g or so is offset by the not carrying around 400g of wide range cassette on there
It's still around 1/5th the weight of my current rear hub...

853 DZB tubing wouldn't be available for a downtube that long ( unless they custom draw it for larger orders* ), so I'm hoping the gearbox cage takes up enough of that space to allow it
*I think
Tubes were no longer than 740mm ish before. MK2 is around 780mm
