In all honesty, health wise has been easy to manage - and I think/feel we're pragmatic and sensitive over it. It's been being stuck inside that's been really difficult and seeing/hearing the complete dickishness that's been going on around me. Our 'estate' group chat has kept me entertained with "thank god no one in our village/area/estate has it" and seemingly every other child on the estate has an immuno-deficiency. Oh, and today "who's coming to soft play?"
So, a week's isolation finishes tomorrow (just as the sun comes out for a shred!!!)
Wife (32): Flu/head cold symptoms from 6th March which lasted for a week, tapering off after 5 days. She was pretty rough, too rough to work but not severe or bed-ridden.
3 yr old: had persistent 72 hr high temperature of 40° and cough. It came on very quickly and he woke up two days ago seemingly completely better (if a little tired/washed out after it)
2 yr old, currently on his 3rd day of a hacking cough (worse today) and today has a slight temperature and a bit of a runny nose to go with it.
Me (39): Constant but only slight feeling of roughness . Bit of a snotty nose, bit of a sore throat, mainly in the morning but nothing that would constitute equivalent of missing work (any other time) etc.
Haven't needed to call 111 as managed it fine at home. Almost wish this is it and we've had it rather than anxiety around self isolating (driving me mental) then finally stepping outside and then contracting it at some point!
