NB I thought your post was very interesting. I've been reading a lot of what the experts have to say, but I still feel very short of an approach to understanding what the best method of tackling this might be, largely because I obviously don't know anything about the virus, so her input helps.

Imagine how people with 20+ years in the field feel.
But otherwise just watch a couple of youtube videos to supplement your knowledge. It's called research, it's how you become an expert.

Yes, for the purpose of this discussion Peter Piot is part of our pool of UK experts. My wife isn't British either and has no interest in defending British institutionalism and definitely not this goverment but she's seeing the work that's being done to fight this virus and I've mistakenly introduced her to a world of know-it-all-pricks.
