I have another of the po units and they are pretty cool, but can be a bit fiddly to use, and the screen really doesn't tell you a great deal about what's going on.
I suppose having some experience of sample based or sequencer based music production would be beneficial, but if not, I guess it just takes a lot of practice and experimentation getting to know what all of the buttons do.there's a guy called "true cuckoo" on YouTube that does pretty cool tutorials.
on the off chance you do get bored of it or decide it's not for you then give me a shout!

I started by using one of these, you pretty much just need to keep playing around with it until you become familiar with the button combinations. I kept the instruction page bookmarked on the teenage engineering website to easily refer back to. It did take a little bit of getting used to but I got it after a while, just got to keep at it.
To me! And it is a great little unit. However...
Having never sampled or sequenced before I'm finding this a steep learning curve. But I definitely see the awesome potential, and do want to get the most out of it. The beginner and introductory YouTube videos ain't helping, has anyone got any advice / resources / tips on starting one of these from scratch?
