Mass gatherings are to be banned across the UK from next weekend, the government has announced after Boris Johnson’s cautious approach to the coronavirus outbreak was overtaken by care homes, sporting bodies and even the Queen taking matters into their own hands.

The only bit of note is care homes. Even that isn’t substantiated.
The rest is dross, we know restrictions are on the way so it’s not a uturn. The Premier league has been suspended more on the basis of players coaches testing positive and isolating. Not for worry of the attendees.
