Not going to the top of the steps feels like cheating.
That's an easy one, I used to live around the corner from there.

At the very back of the Freshfield Business Park, if anyone wants to visit - or attend a yoga class (!) in the tunnel itself.

William Street; parallel to John Street.
I never noticed this site before, even though it's a stone's throw from the UoB's Waste House which I tagged not too long ago.

This view looks so impressive when you're there. A photo (or rather my photo) doesn't do it justice.

I was going to use your old tag as a clue if needed. is that mash a new bike of yours? not noticed it before

Hi @Dogtemple,
Yes, new bike... sort of. I fell in love with the Mash SF AC-1 frame:
https://www.mashsf.com/uncategorized/mash-ac-1-frameset
but thought it was way too expensive on release. At the end of last summer I noticed it had nearly halved in price, so I went for it (with Mash riser bar and zingy purple bar ends).
Having three fixies would be overkill, so the bike is actually a rebuild of my Cinelli Vigorelli around the new frame. (Still got the Cinelli frame in case I need to go back.)
With the demise of Rule 5 Bikes, Rayments did the build. Thanks Jim!
V happy with the results. Looking forward to tagging more with this bike.
Happy to give clues on this new tag...

The Mash is ridiculously light, and gets up to speed very quickly. It’s highly responsive... you start pedalling a bit faster, and it accelerates away instantly. Never known anything like it.

nice, mash frames are usually worth going for if you can get them for the right price
I know where this tag is, not sure when I can get to it though, i'll try after work maybe or possibly Sunday if I can get out.

Great to see this is still going, and annoyed with myself for not realising before that, since Microcosm, ignoring the Brighton sub-forum meant I also stopped seeing this thread; it used to be possible to ignore a forum and still see specific threads in it. I'll have a look through what I missed.

You're welcome to go and get my tag. Can give clues if needs be.

Go on, give us a clue. I've been working this whole time so might be able to get it on a commute.

I'd love to, if I got down to Brighton again. (I'm in London.)

AKA Church of Fun for those of us with toddlers.
With one thing and another I just haven't had a chance to go grab it, I'll have to make more of an effort!

Excellent.
Good read. It was doing my head in. I thought I knew where it was but as it turned out I was looking around St Nicholas' - way too far down Dyke Road. Thanks for the hint!
