2000km put on my arkose since August. Mostly through mud and boulder fields of the North West with occasional gravel sections found. Starting to question whether it's environmentally (and a lesser extent financially) sustainable compared to road biking.
3 chains - I almost always give these a quick rag clean and relube before using again. Am I doing it wrong?
6 sets of brake pads (5 resin, 1 sintered) - I don't remember going through as many on my mountain bike but then I guess the bike is being used differently which could explain the increased wear.
new chaing rings - snapped tooth on the big ring - must have smashed it on something but the teeth are also looking pretty shagged.
1 rear tyre - Wtb riddler middle nobs almost disappeared - doesn't inspire much confidence but arguably fine to continue to use?
