My parents are both in fragile states of health that would make them particularly vulnerable if infected. In the small Aberdeenshire town they live in, they're not currently at significant risk (and are being cautions anyway).
We were going to go up to see them this month, for their anniversary. We've cancelled for the moment, since being London based we're much more likely to be exposed and possibly unwittingly carry it right to them, maybe even picking it up en route. We're hoping that more information and clarity about the UK situation is coming, so we can replan. But it's not easy to not go and see your folks when you know there's a pandemic that, if it randomly got to them, would have a frighteningly high chance of killing them.

Thought the shut down was for all but essential movement.

You were allowed to go to work, the pharmacy and supermarkets. Until an hour ago “work” also included retail and such.
Now they’ve made a split between which type of work is allowed and which not.

Our Scandi trip is looking bleak. Plan is Denmark-Sweden-Norway in five weeks time. Insured but will be a shame.

I’m meant to fly back in tomorrow.
Not sure what I’m going to be met with.

But I'll be disappointed if somebody doesn't have a sharp "Your mom" joke.

I’m debating a Wahoo currently. Not allowed to cycle outside either and can’t miss out on 3 weeks of training.

You could notice a huge difference out on the road from Monday already. I think what they’ve now decided is the most strict you can go without paralyzing the entire economy.

Daniele Rugani - Juventus defender tests positive for Covid-19. Highly likely that other players may have contracted. Serie A season over?

German player as well yesterday.
Think all sport is ultimately likely to be cancelled.

Rugani on the bench for the derby d’italia on Sunday so potentially more players could have become infected from then

Don’t have those details as of now but I can imagine it’s business as usual for them.

Suppose I should phone and ask....
Part of me was thinking of a quick italian holiday with a TV and couple of games consoles and a few books. With a red diesel generator....and avoiding the family.

Post olympics.
My prediction. Everything’s cancelled by April. Olympics cancelled also. Tour the lot.

I agree, I reckon this weekend will be the last football in the UK
Italy will close all retail till April. Just supermarkets and pharmacies will remain open. Factories will remain open as long as they can guarantee the safety of the employees.
