Poland (motherland for me) is shutting down schools, cinemas, theatres etc. starting tomorrow. “Officially”, they only had around 25 confirmed cases at the time of decision. UK has nearly 500 by now and nothing like that happens yet. I can’t decide whether it’s a good decision not to shut down or not...

Denmark is shutting down. Crazy.
The media do love terms like lockdown and shutdown. Reality is quite different.

I think most countries will go this way next few days. Can't really believe it. Just wild

I'm from Kent (Sheppey, the arse hole of Kent, to be precise). It's a shit hole.
I've been asked to work from home Friday to test if I can as I haven't done it before. I'm assuming by next week our office will all be doing so.

I suggest those that are take a look at what’s between the train tracks at Kings Cross.
Not really much danger of that getting on to my proper leather shoes tho

Prime Minister live on telly.
In Danish
Quite a few measures, including sending home non-critical public-sector staff, closing schools and daycare centres.

Crowds/gatherings of people over 500 now prohibited here in Sweden and police have the right to disperse crowds. Mum is off for a concert this weekend i gave her for her 60's. Must say i'd prefer if she didn't go tbh. Many people are stocking up on canned foods, and others totally ignorant and convinced it's not any worse than a seasonal flu. Government have downplayed the virus since day one and the hospitals won't cope with a rapid increase of people with severe symptoms.
Exciting times. -

I just came to post that.
All kinder gardens, schools, educational institutions to shut down. All public employees to stay at home expect critical staff like health care etc.Edit: tomorrow will pass legislation to shut down bars, cafés, restaurants and forbid gatherings of more then 100 people.

I’ve noticed a nonchalant attitude in Sweden in contrast to people in the uk wearing plastic buckets on their head when taking bus.
-

She told the public not to panic and said: "We can (carry on) buying goods in shops, these (goods) will (carry on being) produced, transported and sold."
"There is no reason to stockpile rye bread or TOILET ROLL." (My emphasis.)

Also, ban on indoor gatherings of more than 100 people.
All this pointing the finger at France about piss and shit, I suggest those that are take a look at what’s between the train tracks at Kings Cross.
