that's not true.
The insurance company and the healthcare provider have an agreed upon reimbursement rate.
The fact is she was charged 75 dollars and the hospital new they were getting ~2 grand for it.
anyway there's a lot (A LOT) more too it and we would love to see a healthcare revolution in the US. We would love it. it's just very complicated and very hard to implement.
Yes, I know, you posted that as I was already editing to clarify. But that charge on the insurance doesn't go nowhere. It's what makes the system inaccessible to so many.
